Mouthwash Tip - Put it in the frig before use

You’ll thank me after you try it.

Not very convenient though. The refrigerator is in the kitchen, which is downstairs from the bathroom.

And exactly why will I thank you? :dubious:

Moving this from IMHO to MPSIMS.

Because the lower the temperature of the solvent is, the less soluble the various solids in your mouth will be in it, so you won’t get rid of as much plaque and tongue-crud, and you can get back to enjoying that stank-breath you love so much that much faster.

Duh.

Plus, for those of you with cold-sensitive teeth like mine, you’ll get to experience not only the burn of the disinfectant, but the bone-chilling agony of direct subcutaneous oral nerve irritation! Perfect for all you masochists out there who want the best of both worlds!

Thanks, Roland, for voicing my concern (keep on sowing those seeds of love!)…

I was thinking that, given a choice of a needle stuck in my eye or very cold mouthwash, well…I’d still choose the cold mouthwash, but I actually considered the needle.

See, it’s winter here and I keep the Listerine under the sink. Just as good as a refrigerator. God I hate winter here.

…Am I safe just brushing my teeth and using the occasional breath mints?

Only if you keep them in the refrigerator.

Mmmmm…rinse with chilled mouthwash, then spit onto chapped nipples for soothing minty coolness.

To join in on the KelCorrectingFest – I don’t know about anyone else, but to me, the word “frig” has a vastly different meaning than the word “fridge”.

Unless that was the point.

Great. Now I’ve got this image of mom asking me to gargle right before she rubs Noxema on my nipples and its totally fucking up my afternoon.

Absolute first thought. I can’t imagine how awful it would be to swish refrigerated mouthwash across my teeth.
