I sort of figured it would be a flashback movie set in the MCU past (I’ve seen that Robert Downey will be appearing). But I feel that the movie will end with a resurrection placing Natasha back among the currently living characters in the MCU present. It would just be a dead end to have a movie about the past events of a character who is no longer part of the overall series; dedicating a movie to a character implies that they will be participating in future stories.
