Certainly not as good as Arthur C. Clarke’s book 2010: Odyssey Two, and not nearly as good as Kubrick’s masterpiece predecessor, but not a bad sf adventure movie in its own right.

Helen Mirren was in it. Got to like something with Helen Mirren.
