Worth watching, because someone thought it was what people wanted to see: what people? I haven’t figured that out maybe that’s the real mystery.

Unfortunately, the movie left out my favorite detail from the book: Coast Guard rescue divers are (or pretend to be) so blase about the risks of their profession that they call a dive into the most mountainous, terrifyingly dangerous seas “sporty.” Sporty! Heheheh.
