David Letterman joked that that phrase was actually how Ahnuld invited women out on dates.

Remakes that never should have been made

  1. Arthur

Remakes that never should have been made

  1. Arthur
  2. The Taking of Pelham 123 (2009)

There were two remakes, incredibly, a made for TV one which I haven’t seen and one with an over the top performance by John Travolta. Less is More, John, Less is More.

Remakes that never should have been made

  1. Arthur
  2. The Taking of Pelham 123 (2009)
  3. The Ladykillers

The rare dud for both Tom Hanks and the Coen Brothers but I still enjoyed some of the dark humor.

Remakes that never should have been made

  1. Arthur
  2. The Taking of Pelham 123 (2009)
  3. The Ladykillers
  4. Psycho

A shot-by-shot copy of the original? Really? Why bother?

  1. Arthur
  2. The Taking of Pelham 123 (2009)
  3. The Ladykillers
  4. Psycho
  5. Total Recall (2012)

The original with Ahnold hit on the right formula. The remake was inferior in every way except perhaps in terms of special effects (which were perfectly adequate in the original).

  2. The Taking of Pelham 123 (2009)
  3. The Ladykillers
  4. Psycho
  5. Total Recall (2012)
  6. Overboard (2018)

It switches genders, where the rich person who goes overboard is a man. Not good.

  7. Rollerball

One character is murdered by having his chinstrap tampered with but the main hero never has his fastened.
