OUT OF PLAY: This is, IMHO, a forgotten classic. I caught it decades ago on a cable channel, or perhaps on VHS, when I had absolutely nothing better to do, and gave it a watch. I really enjoyed it.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but it seems to me that “Jesus Christ Superstar” runs almost a week, beginning with the triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Then it moves ahead a couple days to the Last Supper and the visit to the garden of Gethsemane, folllowed by Jesus’ arrest and torments, the examination by Herod, the ‘trial’ before Pilate, and then the crucifixion and death.
I figure we’re looking at roughly five days there.
