Does anyone know which movie I’m trying to remember that had the song “The Way You Look Tonight” in it? I’m pretty sure it was the Frank Sinatra version and the film was a more modern one that was in color.
It is not…
Chinatown
Father of the Bride (1 or 2)
My Best Friend’s Wedding
Love’s Labour’s Lost
Valentine’s Day
Thanks for any attempts.
Here is a list of all(?) titles that contain that song. Perhaps have a look and see if one jogs your memory?
IMDB only shows 5 entries for the Sinatra version under Frank as a performer. The only movies are:
A Dash of Love and One Night of Love. The others are a short and episodes of Gilmore Girls and Saturday Night Live.
Thank you. I was thinking it was a Tom Hanks movie, but I’m not really sure. For all I know it might have been on a TV show. Nothing is ringing a bell yet.
“The Way You Look Tonight”
Sung by Fred Astaire in the 1936 movie Swing Time.
Sinatra included it on the 1964 album Sinatra Sings Days of Wine and Roses, Moon River, and Other Academy Award Winners.
Is it possible that you’re thinking of this Michelob commercial from the mid-80s?
