I maintain that the beauty of Hudson Hawk is that it’s so wonderfully aware of its contrivances. Yes, of course it’s rediculous for Kaplan and the Candy Bars to be waiting at the bottom of the embankment. The filmmakers know how stupid that is, and by recognizing this, you’re in on the joke. Once you realize that Hudson Hawk owes you no explanations and isn’t going to give you any, it’s difficult to do anything but love such a marvelous train wreck of a film.

I think that was Sliding Doors, but yeah, I remember when that one came out, and she had two haircuts.
