There are several times when a narrator introduces works and there is the time when he calls for the soundtrack to make an appearance on screen and show what various instruments sounds ‘look’ like.

EVITA has no dialogue. Directed by Alan Parker who also directed Pink Floyd’s The Wall and The Commitments and Bugsy Malone.

Jesus Christ Superstar does not have dialogue.

I don’t remember the Triplets of Belleville having any dialogue.

I’m pretty sure the fat American Statue of Liberty said, “No money, no hamburgers.”

That raises the issue of concert films, such as Stop Making Sense - was there any talking between songs on that?

Drummer Chris Frantz introduced the Tom Tom Club (Talking Heads minus David Byrne) then after they did Genius of Love de-introduced TTC. Byrne also introduced the band during an extended version of Take Me to the River and said “Thank you; are there any questions?” during the applause after Life During Wartime. The last was apparently looped.

I was going to say there is a live action segment between each musical piece, “The Presenter” having a lot to say. However, there seems to be two versions of the film, one with just the music.
