After the board goes down, I’ll be taking a walk across the street. My neighbors are moving, and it looks like they’ve got some gooooooood stuff. What’s this…they just put up a tent. Oh wow, there’s a motorcycle, a video camera, some speakers (Peavey, I think…any musicians out there use Peavey gear?), and a massive pile of kids’ clothes & toys. Oh, lucky me, yesterday was payday. 
Well, I may have to fight you for them, but the one thing I look for at yard sales are Monkees albums. So, if you see any, I’ll take 'em!

Across the street from my house, Medea. You know where Cody Elementary is? It’s two blocks east of the school, on Victoria.
Just got some cool stuff for the kids. Little Tikes indestructible play-yard stuff for the backyard, so they have something to frolic on besides the weeds.
See if they have any true Yard Sale treasures – you know the Monopoly game with hand drawn money, one die, and ripped corners on the box – an eight track player – Lawn Jarts – paperback books with no covers – a forty year old vacuum cleaner – any sort of stuffed dead animal – you know, the good stuff.
**Medea:[/] Just went back, and found out that the entire contens of their house are for sale. So, you need furniture, it’s there. And it doesn’t look too bad.
Oh, and the lady collects celestial-theme stuff. Moons, suns, & stars. And it’s all for sale. Can we say, “Persephone is going to be broke by the end of the day?”

sigh Why, oh why, don’t I live near you, Persephone??? I’m in search of a dresser and bedframe/headboard for my bedroom. The air mattress is getting a little thin sometimes, and the crates I’m keeping my clothes in…

I collect board games of various types. Especially anything by Avalon Hill, 3M, or Milton Bradley. 
Persephone, if they’re selling kitchen utensils, grab me some stuff for my new apartment, will ya? We already have pots and pans, silverware, and dishes, but cooking stuff like measuring cups and skillets would ROCK!

I have the opposite problem… moving out, have to get rid of everything and don’t know where to start. I was thinking the smaller stuff could go on ebay but I have never sold on ebay and don’t know where to start. The bigger stuff would have to be sold locally … I hate the thought of having to deal with this…
