depends mp3s can be encoded at virtually any bitrate.
You’ll see a big size difference between a 32kbps and 320kbps.
But generally as an average i’d say 10 times bigger.
So a 4MB mp3 will be about a 40 MB wav.
Yep, it varies, but somewhere between 8 - 10 times larger seems about average.
Are you referring to CD tracks converted to uncompressed WAVs? CDs are encoded at a CBR of 1440 Kbps, so whatever bitrate you use to rip them to MP3s will give you the factor of how much smaller the MP3 will be (well, typically anyway). For example, an MP3 ripped at 140Kbps CBR should be around 10x smaller (1/10th the size) than the original WAV.

The average mp3 is 128kbps with a file size between 4-5MB. The equivalent .wav file is about 50-60MB.
