I’m not sure which group this should go in but I’m sure many Canadians, and a few Americans in the boarder cities might be sad to hear that Ernie Coombs, AKA Mr. Dressup has passed away. I know this is not earth shattering news in this terrible, terrible month, but it is an additional sadness added.
I’ll miss him.

That’s horrible news. What a kind, gentle man, who brought so much joy to people. And again, the world is a darker place.
Oh, when I heard the news, I was surprised at how upset I felt. That man contributed so much. He did not deserve to die at such a horrible time. He brought so much happiness to so many people, his last days should not have been surrounded in hate.
I regret I could not have told him how much he gave to me.
I started a thread in MPSIMS thinking that it was neither mundane or pointless that a man who gave joy to generations of children has passed away.
Condolences are being posted there as well.
Odie said it well…
Damn.
Because this thread is more appropriate for MPSIMS, and because a thread for this purpose has already been started there, I’ll go ahead and lock this off, o.k.?
