Also I should have mentioned in my first post, their comments about diversity being dumb corporate nonsense are just completely wrong. It matters a lot when people can see characters like themselves in the media they love.

Totally agreed.

As for the dialogue, people forget how lighthearted the original was.

LUKE: I can’t see a thing in this helmet!

HAN: This is not going to work.
LUKE: Why didn’t you say so before?
HAN: I did say so before!

LEIA: This is some rescue. When you came in here, didn’t you have a plan for getting out?

I think Empire and Jedi are as funny as the Force Awakens.

I think humor being absent(well, pretty much absent) from the prequels is one thing that ruined them. They are just so dull, lifeless, and unjoyful.
