“Poe-ward”?
Aha—interesting! I think it’s mostly true.
I thought that adding France and Denmark to my list of Marxist hell-holes would obviate the need for an explicit “[/sarcasm]” tag.
But I should apologize for the confusion — but won’t, now that I have eschereal accepting the blame.
Nathan Poe was correct and right-wing “thought” is now so crazy that it can’t be out-parodied.
Gah. Now I need brain bleach.
Seconded.
Oh, bullshit. AOC’s politically inexperienced, and there are issues where she’s ignorant but has spoken up anyway and made a fool of herself.
But (a) she’s pretty smart (a hell of a lot smarter than Palin) and she’ll learn, (b) she’s been a member of the U.S. Congress for less than two days, while Palin had been governor of a state and was running for Vice President of the United States (so even if they were equal in intelligence and ability, which one was in way more over her head?), (c) probably has more of a clue on most issues than most of the Republicans in Congress, and (d) has almost singlehandedly elevated the Green New Deal from a fringe issue to the mainstream, which is already a more positive accomplishment than anything Palin ever did.
Cheez’us H. Krist! Are you dolts auditioning for The Onion?
When a Republioturd(*) uses a glass of ice to demonstrate why global warming won’t cause sea levels to rise, those are just “alternate facts.” Rick Perry can campaign to eliminate a major agency, even though he hasn’t the slightest clue what that Department does. But when Ocasio-Cortez misspeaks by referring to Israel’s occupation of the West Bank as an … “occupation” :smack: you get to pretend she’s as stupid as Dan Quayle or G.W. Bush.
-
- No, I’m not referring to a GOPster in the advanced potty training section; these are several Republioturds on the House Science and Technology Committee for heaven’s sake!! Steve Stockman (formerly R-TX) is one of several of these GOP gluttons of ignorance.
Recently we did learn why he was so qualified to be a Repug in Congress:
- No, I’m not referring to a GOPster in the advanced potty training section; these are several Republioturds on the House Science and Technology Committee for heaven’s sake!! Steve Stockman (formerly R-TX) is one of several of these GOP gluttons of ignorance.
Oh, OK then. Stockman did have what it takes to be a top pol in the Trump Party.
Anyway … Dacien? Bzzzzt; next contestant!
That’s what I like about you. I won’t ever confuse you with a rabid right-winger.
Palin was pretty ignorant and got treated as such. I don’t think there’s been much subsequent evidence of any improvement, either.
AOC is educated and radical but mostly she’s just 20 years or so early in her views.
I presume, since we’re now on the subject of her dancing, that Shodan’s typical bullshit OP has been soundly debunked in the previous 250 posts.
Thanks? I think?
You’d be wrong.
Unless Ms. Ocasio-Cortez is channeling Judy Garland, and wants to save Medicare with a dance-a-thon.

They Shoot Insurers, Don’t They?
Holy crap, Shodan, just when we think you have found the bottom, you prove us mistaken.
What I mean is, it would be a Herculean task to parody you. Anybody can parody an unhinged right-winger, but your template is too unique.
That’s more informative, but still rates a similar “thanks, sort of”.
I caught the 60 Minutes interview last night. Already, she is miles away from the “deer-in-the-headlights” look from a lot of her earlier interviews. Yes, the questions from Anderson Cooper weren’t rocket science, but her demeanor and overall vibe were one of confidence and intelligence.
Pretty much, though I’m still waiting on him to explain how a system that loads of countries round the rest of the world implements for a fraction of the cost the US pays will somehow result in greater cost to the US.
But hey, several years back she did a dance vid, so I’m sure that also proves something in his world about how she’s clearly an evil communist, etc.
We covered that several pages back. According to Ms. AOC, we can cover two-thirds of M4A with the $21T we are giving the military. There were cites and everything.

Shodan
