MSDN Developer license

Will an MSDN Developer license allow me to deploy/sell an application I made (in .NET) or does it only allow me to develop the application (no selling)? In other words, do I need another license to distribute?

From the MSDN Licensing FAQ

To further clarify, unless things have changed in the two years since I’ve been involved in producing windows software, you don’t need a MSDN subscription to distribute software. MSDN gives you a number of tools for helping to create your software, but as long as you have a licensed copy of Visual Studio, you are allowed to distribute anything you make with it.

I think what he is asking is software downloaded from the MSDN developer library. They make full versions of all their software available for the taking, if you pay a (huge) subscription fee, and he wants to know if he can distribute software that he created with Visual Studio that was acquired in that manner. I, alas, do not know the answer, however.
