Are the MST3K DVD’s available as region 2 ?
I have been told that PS2 is a DVD player. Is it a multi region player ?
I just thought of an extra question
Is the Xbox a DVD player ?
Is it multi-region ?

Why did you post this twice?
Just a WAG, but…
The PS2 is not multiregional (without a hardware hack, anyways). Sony has too much at stake (aka Sony Pictures, Ltd) to allow DVD players to be shipped multiregion.
XBox is also a DVD player (although i think you might need to buy an adapter for it, which basically is a infared remote control and IR reciever). There is probably a hardware hack out there for this player as well. It is also a single region player.
What does multiregional mean? Where or what is region 2?
Region 2: Japan, Egypt, the Middle East, the Republic of South Africa, and Europe.
Multiregion=More than one region.
Xbox needs a remote to play dvds. Ps2 can use the controller as a remote.
As far as I know, Neither the ps2 or the xbox is multiregion. However, there are disks you can buy to make players play multiregion . Those disks/software I can’t mention that’s just in case. Some USA stores sell multiregion players, I saw one at Circuit City.
No. Although they are not marked as such, they are Region 1.
I’ve heard that many of the earlier PS2 units were multiregion. But if you upgraded the OS (or firmware?), or if you have a newer unit, it will not be multiregion.
DVDs also come in PAL and NTSC versions, so you have to match that in addition to the region code. But computers can play both PAL and NTSC, so maybe the PS2 can as well, I’m not sure.
