Multi A/V Input Question

I want to hook up several vide game systems to my TV, and thus will use one of those multi unput selector things. I was just wondering if that will degrade the video/audio quality at all? Also, will it interfere with GameCube’s Pro Logic 2 output?

It probably depends on the ‘switch’ or junction that you put in. Really junky ones will potentially work just fine or cause the problems that you are concerned about. They also simply may not be able to pass along whatever signals are relevant to your Game Box and could cause you grief. For the most part there isn’t likely to be too much trouble, however as most game systems just ram the signal down to the TV without needing to know very much about how it’s happening.

I bought a 3-way AV splitter for my TV so that I wasn’t having to pull plugs all the time. I run a gamecube, a PS2 and a DVD player.

I have not noticed any degradation in the sound or picture quality, and the gamecube works just fine.
