I disagree, one of the victims is responsible for the gun policies in this country and has an A+ rating by the NRA; his getting shot doesn’t change that fact. You had Ditka make a crack about the shooter’s politics and he got a pass, but suggesting getting shot by a lunatic doesn’t automatically make you a hero somehow crosses the line?
So, “let’s not do this here” is a rebuke?
Let’s call it a polite suggestion. Note that neither of the people I responded to were disparaging the victims, which may account for the more gentle response.
You also seem to be assuming I read the whole thread, which I didn’t. I don’t know what else was said prior to his comment.
