I love these boards, and the usual dry, ironic or otherwise witty posts that usually make me grin. Rarely though do I fall into a fit of uncontrollable laughter, but when I read this, I just lost it -
There is not one single document written or signed by him giving any orders to kill Jews so how can you hold him responsible besides being head of the Reich?

The bold part especially. The whole thread is kind of a goldmine as you slowly watch him lose it, but that particular sentence just slayed me. Hardcore conservatives(“fascists”)/liberals(“communists”), religious fundamentalists/zealots, conspiracy nuts, science deniers, they all annoy me. Sure, their beliefs are ridiculous and laughable in and of themselves, but they make up such a proportion of the population that I view them with worry, precisely because they are able to make their views so widespread that they are able to actually influence public policy. That’s why I, unlike a lot of people, can’t watch FoxNews for its humor value: it’s the difference between O’Reilly and Colbert, even if they say the same stuff, one of them is actually serious . But with Holocaust Deniers and Neo-Nazis? I just couldn’t help but laugh, and I hope you do too.
