Round Two of Muppet Madness is now complete. I will post the brackets for Round Three before I go to bed. Some notes on Round Two:

• Several down-to-the-wire matchups this time; I had to cast two tie-breaker votes, and a third match was decided by only two votes.

• Elmo was crushed like a bug.

• No Muppet seeded worse than #6 is still in the tourney, and of the 12 Muppets seeded #1, #2 or #3, only Elmo is gone.

• The most lopsided contest was Statler/Waldorf 44, Scooter 3, but after further consideration I’m awarding the victory to Scooter. I mean, his uncle does own the theater.

• No, not really.
