Boris Nemtsov, staunch critic of Vladimir Putin, was assassinated on February 27 while crossing a bridge right next to Moscow’s Red Square, basically at a stone’s throw from the Kremlin.
As if there were not enough suspicions of this being a liquidation sponsored by highly-placed people, now we have this:
This definitely doesn’t help clearing the air after such an act.
Someone critical of Putin murdered you say? suspicious circumstances you say? He isn’t the first and won’t be the last.
If you want to send a message to rivals then there is no better to do it than right in front of the Kremlin. I’m sure the opposition have heard Putin loud and clear on this one.
