Muscle-tone exercise methods in NYC (for women)

Hello Dopers! My wife and I just moved into NYC, and she requested that I asked for any opinions on good exercise methods/studios…preferably in the 60’s and 70’s of the Upper East Side.

Until now, she has done barre method classes several times a week, and says she is also familiar with Crossfit and TRX. She also runs regularly. Her goal is to build muscle tone rather than necessarily lose weight, and she’s hoping for small group classes or personal training.

If anyone has some favorite instructor-led classes for those goals (not just gyms for on-your-own workouts), we’d love to hear about them. Thank you all!
