Does anyone know any titles of books which relate music to psychology?
Why are some of my favorite songs (Al green, Bee Gee’s, Marvin Gaye, Drifters) and do not appeal AT ALL to ANY of my friends who would rather say they consider anything but old music to their favorites.
There are tons and tons of such books. The keywords you’re looking for is “music cognition.” I have no idea what level of book you’re looking for. Are you looking for something like “Music Psych for Dummies” or more university textbook?
