'Hope it’s not too late to bring this up, but if you’ve got a “Bard” with you, you might try Solas or The Clancy Brothers. Irish ballads and folk songs are always fun, in peacetime, wartime, or for general carousing.

Thanks for the reminder of this thread. Here’s one: it’s not music, but Neverwinter Nights has some great ambient sound effects that are in either .wav or .mp3 format. They work wonders when the PCs are walking through the forest, standing near a body of water, etc. If you have the game, check 'em out.
