I’ve been playing with Pacemaker for WinAmp for a while, and I gotta say, music sounds damn cool with the tempo up 50%, the speed up 10%, and the pitch down .2 octaves.

I’ve messed around with programs like that. There were a bunch of settings I changed to make female singers sound eerily male. It didn’t sound like just lower pitch, it actually sounded like a guy singing the song. And of course you can “Chipmunkize” your mp3 collection in no time at all.
If you have a SoundBlaster Live! card, you can f with the Environmental Audio presets, that makes for some cool stuff, too.
