I was watching the one where they paired Suave and leather jackets. I was thinking about how much I wanted the song in the background. Does anyone know the name of it?

I think the title is “Let’s Work Together”. The band is definitely Canned Heat, a sixties-seventies hippie band.
They have a greatest hits CD that’s available online. It’s got a couple of other tunes you’ll probably recognize.
Damn, those commercials irritate me.
They usually air 2 or 3 of 'em in a row.
Irritating, especially if you don’t get (or care to get) the concept.
Now when I see those commercials I still think of the ones that used the same song, but with modified lyrics, for Kragen (may be different in your part o’ the country) :
“'cause Kragen understands every car truck, wagon, or van!”
I did hear the actual song played on the radio recently, probably due to the DJ hearing the commercial and being reminded of it.
Is it just me, or does anybody else think the Target commercials are done by the same people who did the Gap commercials and they just don’t have any other ideas? Either that or they are a blatant rip-off.
