I would really like to know the backstory behind this. Who are the dancers? When was this made and why?
Just coming in here to post this one. It’s got all the ingredients - talented singer in her own right covering a song that is totally out of her genre, trying to make herself look really cool and tough, in some enormous Vegas-style revue, with a crowd of people cheering her on who would probably never ever EVER enjoy the original group, and she’s just butchering an awesome tune. And she’s serious about it, you can tell she’s really trying to kick some major ass and failing mightily.
IMO this is far worse than somebody who can’t sing in the first place getting up and singing badly.
