I know that musical tastes change, and most artists can’t last forever (well, except for Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, and Madonna. Cher too, but she’s retiring).
But anyway, I was thinking of who I’d like to see have a comeback. I’m 29 so most of the people I think of were big in the 80’s. For example, I’d love to see comebacks from
- Eddie Money (Yeah, he’s still around, but hasn’t had a hit in about 10 years).
- Def Leppard (I thought they were on the verge of a comeback when the song “Promises” was big, but alas, it didn’t last.)
- Belinda Carlisle. I wish I could have gone and seen a concert when the Go Go’s recently came out with their “God Bless The Go Go’s” album.
Also, from the early 90’s, I liked Mark Cohn’s music, and was surprised he didn’t stay big for very long.
Anyway, just curious, who would you like to see make a comeback? Doesn’t matter from what era, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s… or style of music, like rock, jazz, country, and so on…
