Anyone got any new projects going?
This is my latest, though not quite complete song.

Slee! You rawk, dude!
I will share an excerpt from the email I sent to you when you graced me with an advance link to this:
It’s a bit of a secret right now, but I’m taking some old classical piano music and arranging it for guitar and synth. I hope to release a CD in a year or two. In the meantime, some of the music is way too hard for me, so it’s practice practice practice.
What’s funny is that I wanted the end result to be rock-style. It’s not turning out that way at all. It’s turning out to be something I could never have predicted. But I like it!
We’ve just finished a six concert series of 16th century Spanish liturgical music, based on a Santiago pilgrimage theme. We’re now working on two programs simultaneously:
(1) War & Peace: Haydn’s Mass in Time of War; Vaughan William’s Dona Nobis Pacem and a new Australian composition Beach Burial, based on the poetry of Kenneth Slessor.
(2) Saint Cecilia: various works devoted to the patroness of music, for performance on her feast day (22 November), including Purcell’s Hail Bright Cecilia and Britten’s Hymn to Saint Cecilia.
After that it’s four performances of Messiah in December, then straight into Mahler 8 rehearsals for February performances with the SSO, as well as three January Sydney Festival performances of a work, the identity of which I’m not allowed to reveal.
