My Amazing Encounters with Jesus Christ

God killed all the firstborn children in an entire country.

The LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon.... And there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead. -- Exodus 12:29-30

Sometimes God kills children for misbehaving.

And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head. And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them. -- 2 Kings 2:23-24

God sounds like one evil, murderous SOB to me. I guess if you don’t love and obey him, he will kill you.

Do you understand the meaning of circular reasoning or tautology and why it’s a fallacy?

Ark.

Then why are you preaching things the Catholic Faith does not hold? You said you knew better than Catholics, is this that you know untrue?

On Spiritual Tunnels

Elijah Ascends to Heaven.

2 KINGS 2:1. And when it came to pass, when the LORD was about to take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind,

Elijah would have traveled through a spiritual whirlwind (tunnel) on his way to heaven.

Here is a picture of a physical whirlwind.

2 KINGS 2:11. …Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

What do you say to the hundreds of millions of muslims, and buddhists, and hindus etc… in the world who each make the very same claim you make about their own faith?

They can all quote chapter and verse from their own holy books about the legitimacy of their faith above all others.

What makes you think that you are right and they are wrong?

How would I know a ‘spiritual’ orb from a ‘real’ orb?

How would you know what I have or have not seen?

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
So - God required a human sacrifice.

He also requested that Abraham perform a human sacrifice - while he ‘let it go’ at the last moment, he still required it right up until then.

No, I haven’t, but I have seen things like the one in your photograph with my own eyes, just by allowing them to defocus.

There is nothing in your photo that requires a supernatural explanation.

Has anyone in the Bible killed more men, women, children or animals than God?

WHy do they have to accept a gift that is freely given?

How could the folks in Maccabees have any chance to accept Jesus since Jesus wasn’t around yet?

Seems kind of mean that they went to hell for not accepting a free gift that wasn’t available for them to accept.

You do not tell the whole story. The Egyptian Pharaoh first killed all the newborn males of the people of Israel. And God warned them to release His people before He had done the same to them. It was a time of war. The American government had done a lot worse when they dropped two atomic bombs on Japan killing 100,000 innocent people including women, children, plants and animals.

Gotta admit, that definitely looks like a demon face in the lower half, but I don’t see a chariot. At least not like the ones the Romans rode.

This mop is possessed by a demon too.

Have you ever considered that these are examples of Pareidolia? We humans have a natural tendency to see faces in objects, such as Jesus on a grilled cheese sandwich.

The Americans were being God-like in their actions when they dropped the bombs?

Are they showing you photographs of the Holy Spirit? Or any of His works?

God allowed all of it - it was his plan - since when is ‘war’ an excuse for an all mighty ‘graceful’ full of love god to kill children and innocents?

He also destroed alll but one small family in the ‘flood’ and intends to do it again in Revelations (this time with FIRE!) - not very graceful of him

have you? I have yet to see a picture that was his “holy spirit” -

Or to put it another way - they have as much as you have.

They are not making such silly claims on such slim evidence, no.

Upon the fulfillment of the Messianic Prophecy, all the faithful were gathered up and delivered into heaven.

How could they have been faithful (putting faith in christ, which you claim is a requirement for atonement) if they were already dead and in hell when christ showed up?

God just say “sorry for all the torment, kinda screwed up the timeline a bit, the delivery of Christ 1.0 was delayed due to a bug in the code” or somethng?

Lastly - you have yet to show that the ‘Messianic Prophecy’ has been fullfilled - there are certainly plenty who disagree on that point - seems kinda poor form to punish the first believers for not giving up thier faith when this other guy shows up.
