From the Prophet Peter Gabriel, of the band Genesis “Suppers Ready”
From Revelation 19:17
Defeat of the Beast and False Prophet
Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried out with a loud voice, saying to all the birds which fly in midheaven, “Come, assemble for the great supper of God, so that you may eat the flesh of kings and the flesh of commanders and the flesh of mighty men and the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them and the flesh of all men, both free men and slaves, and small and great.”…
Eww. So the Angel here is calling for … well it’s clear what s/he’s calling for. I like Gabriel’s version better.
God is present throughout earth through His Holy Spirit. Pictures are being taken of His Spirit and some of His works. People are erroneously calling Him and His works spirit orbs, angel orbs, and ghost orbs. This is the real Holy Spirit in the world today. Look into it for yourself.
I am kind of confused by this. “Hades” obviously refers to the place (“gates of”) rather than the Olympian being. The place was morally neutral: it was where the dead were delivered, to abide for eternity in Elysium (the heroes), Asphodel (the accountants) or Tartarus (the naughty). And, of course, it belongs to a different mythos, so that it should be mentioned in Matthew is problematic as far as the legitimacy of the text.
But why would the faithful be storming the gates of Hades? That makes as much sense as Hobbits laying siege to Mos Eisley Harzach outwitting Robin Hood. What would the goal be?
The Spirit of truth is another title for the Holy Spirit.
John 14:17. the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him,…
NKJV Commentary;Neither sees Him nor knows Him does not mean merely that the world is not able to visually identify the Holy Spirit because He is spirit. Something more is meant: The Spirit of God is active in the world, but His acts go unnoticed by the world (see 1 Cor. 2:14.).
Not only is the world in general unable to visually identify the Holy Spirit, His acts go unnoticed as well.
Why is it that the fanatics are the ones that require the most proof to bolster their faith? Photos, frequent visitations, personal chats etc.-how weak their faith must be if it needs constant booster shots and confirmation from outsiders.
I take it that this means you believe the priest has authority to decide if your assertions in this thread are heretical. Have you shown the posts to him or not?
