That’s why I was away from the board for a couple weeks. And with one thing and another, I didn’t re-install it until tonight. As if anyone actually missed me.
Well, Sakura and the Dave-Guy are back, anyway. It’s gonna take a little while for us to get back up to speed, though, so don’t woooosh us too readily.
*TIME ELAPSED SINCE I QUIT SMOKING:
Six months, six days, 1 hour, 26 minutes and 4 seconds.
7562 cigarettes not smoked, saving $945.30.
Extra time with Drain Bead: 3 weeks, 5 days, 6 hours, 10 minutes.
It’s occurred to me that the best proof against the existence of psychic powers is that Steve Case hasn’t died yet from bleeding of the eyeballs. With all the negative vibes that are no doubt sent his way every day by frustrated AOL users, he should have had several aneurysms by now. So much for voodoo.
Actually, this was the first serious problem I’ve had with AOL in the three or so years I’ve been online. And re-installing was a cinch. My problem was…after we moved last year we apparently tossed out the disc. So we had to find another one. Fortunately, an AOL Titanium (or plutonium, or something) disc came with my Sports Insulated issue recently, so I used that. Not a big problem, and the delay was largely of mine own making.
Nice to see you haven’t lost your edge, Satan. I’m looking forward to the Mets kicking Bronx butt next week.
