Angle Grinded it down today, worked quite well. Money spent:
Angle Grinder - $15
Discs for Grinder(masonry and metal) - $15-$17 total
Sledge Hammer - $25
Face Shield - $8
About $65 or so to do the whole job. Took a few discs, but I cut it down nice and smooth. I can do more in the spring if it bothers me, but it looks low enough for:
- the lawn mower to go over
- grass to more or less fill around it. The spot is quite small that is exposed.
Thanks, everyone. Worked like a charm, though I did buy the cheapest angle grinder. If anyone has a job even a bit bigger, I’d probably say get a higher amp than I did to make it go even smoother. My disc locked up a bit and I had to go slower. Higher amp would probably have cut it like pure butter. Mine was less than 5 amp.
