This year, we get exactly zip. No party, no bonus, some people even get to work on the holidays (not me, they fall on my days off.)

As for holidays, my crappy company gave us $100 and a party at a nice restaurant my first year, last year it was a fleece vest with the company logo on it and hors douvers with clients. This year, they sponsored bowling, which I did not attend. However, in the mean time they’ve hired several new corporate executives for newly created positions and just unveiled a new logo they had some company in London design. Needless to say, it is obvious where all our bonus money is going.
My christmas bonus was happiness with a new job. Old high paying job with elaborate Christmas parties is gone. Low paying governmental job with actual paid time off (that I can count on not being in the office doing due diligence or preparing for a closing) with my wife and kitten. Best one I ever got.
