That was the one! I’m not really going to do it, though, because I don’t know how to knit or crochet and wouldn’t know what to do with the yarn. Maybe a simple box loom…
I once caught my cat pushing itself up the side walk on three legs because its fourth paw was stuck in its collar. I live in a bad neighborhood and decided my cat was safter with just an electronic chip and no collar.
Okay, your basic problem here is that you’re trying to get your cat to do something he doesn’t want to do.
Cats are terrorists,gunfighters and gangsters.
This will end badly.
The last time I forced my cat to do something he didn’t want to do (get vaccinated against various horrible feline diseases), he responded by leaving a raw seagull breast on my pillow at 4 AM. (True story, and yes, I presume he couldn’t find a horse).
The collars that extend around his legs may work, in a mechanical sense, but I wouldn’t do it … There Will Be Retaliation.
If you made a sweater out of dog hair, can you imagine what you’d smell like if it rained?
I had the evil plan of making scarfs out of cat fur and gifting them to people I don’t like who are allergic to cats.
Yes, I know washing the yarn would remove the dander that causes the allergies, and no, I wouldn’t really do it, but…
We brush her less often than we should, because it’s such a production and she hates it. But, I can tell you that the day after we brushed her, hair was still flying off her when she shook. I reckon if we brushed her every day, we’d still never be ahead of her hair production.
I’ve heard it put two ways: “A pug sheds once a year…all year.” And, “A pug will shed every day of its life.”
Of course. I knew I was sadly remiss in this duty, and I meant to apologize in the OP for not having any available… until now!

Note the collar. The day I started the thread, I replaced the collar later, and he’s been tolerating it since. We’ll see how it goes.
The chip is registered; if he sheds the collar again I’ll look into the harness thingie.
Thanks for the suggestions, y’all.
I didn’t want to start an entire new thread for one cat picture, but I finally got a picture of the 5-toed chair sloth. Dax.
