My cousin has been nominated for an Emmy a couple of times - I don’t think she won, though. Her current TV show probably won’t get her any nominations because it’s kind of bad and deserves to be cancelled.
Also, I went to high school with Jerry Orbach’s (from Law & Order) cousin.
After reading that IMDB link, I am really hoping they export a show like “Sign wa V.”
Imagine, a show about female beach volleyball players. I may never see the light of day again.
I have no real famous people in my family. My great uncle was a stuntman for the Tarzan movies in the 20s. My mom’s friend is great friends with Michael Keaton, which doens’t say a lot…but it did get me autographed Batman shirts when I was in 6th grade.

My paternal grandmother asserted that my granddad appeared as an extra in several films shot on location in MA and NH, including Walk East on Hudson - so many appearances, in fact, that he was required to join the Screen Actors’ Guild.
'Course, now they’re both gone so we can’t get 'em to back it up but would love to find out. Don’t we have a Doper who’s a member of the SAG around here somewhere?
