My wife took our 9-week-old daughter to the doctor today for some shots.
Baby girl is 12.1 pounds and 24.2 inches.
I see a basketball or volleyball scholarship in her future!

I don’t want to bring you down - but how big was she at birth? That will give me a better idea of how she has grown…
my little one (and I use the term loosely) was 23 3/4 inches when she was born…
Enjoy the sizes though - they grow so fast - I remember wanting to cry when I had to cross the aisle from toddler to “liitle girl” clothes
Related only to shots:
At the customs lineup in Cuba on vacation this year, a toddler, being carried by his mom, started freaking out. “No! No, mommy, no! No shots!”
He had had the H1N1 vaccine recently, and remembered the very long lineups and thought this was the same thing. I was torn between “poor kid” and “holy fuck, that’s funny!” The mom was cracking up.
Yikes! She outweighs and outlengths Baby From Mars, who’s almost 17 weeks old! In saying that, BFM was only 3kg at birth (6lbs 12oz), and her growth is spot on for that weight. Commendations to your wife for birthing what must have been a big baby!
She was 8 lb 13 oz and 22 inches at birth.
And she refused to come out the natural way… after 24 hours, my wife said “No mas!” and got the little (big) stinker cut out of her. It turns out she was in crooked and my wife’s pelvis was a bit too narrow, so she probably not coming out the standard way in any case!
I was 8lbs 3oz and 22 inches at birth. I’ve been full grown for a decade and I’m not even 5’4", so don’t get ahead of yourself speculating.
How tall are the parents ?
I’m 6 feet even, my wife is 5’6; both of our fathers are 6’3; my mom is 5’7 and hers is 5 feet even.
If you can figure anything out with the little 4-square thingy from biology class, let me know!
