Bwahahahaha!
Friends and neighbors, announcing a new entrant in the december recall! I give you CnoteChris!

You never cease to amaze me Jeff.
Huh?
Let’s review. In this thread and the one that led to it, you have: [ul][]harped on a flip remark.[]demonstrated (willful?) ignorance on the subject.[]dug yourself into a hole.[]resorted to name-callling.ignored a cite. I’d provide more cites but I don’t see what good it would do.[/ul] Who does that remind you of?
Go blow yourself Jeff. I’ve done none of the above and won’t waste my time restating what I’ve already said.
Sheesh.
On second thought…
Yep. Did that. Did that because Ilsa used the same techniques, tactics, what-have-you, that he/she was citing in calling Handy a moron.
Had I read that comment on its own, without the context I’ve written, re-written, and written once again, I never would have said a word. Given the context though, you’re damn straight I said something.
Hardly. Or are you going to find some other website link that’s talking about 8 fucking Megs of RAM again?
Am I backtracking? Am I not standing by my initial, correct, comments?
What are you fucking talking about?

The shock! The horror!
I called someone a moron after they called someone else, who was doing NOTHING WRONG, a moron. WHERE DOES IT END JEFF!?!
The 8 Meg cite?
Bwahahahaha.
The way Ilsa stated it, regardless of the context, needed correction because it was vague, inaccurate, and misleading. Adding RAM, willy nilly, will not guarantee a faster computer. And AGAIN, not anything on its own to get worked up about or a reason to specifically go after a person.
But put it in the context that was there, in that thread and the bash Handy thread, where Ilsa him/herself was doing the SAME THING he/she was accusing Handy of doing, and not only being a moron for doing it, and AGAIN, you’re damn straight that comment needed to get jumped on.
I’d explain it all to you YET again, as I doubt even now you’ll get it, but what’s the use.
Like I said Ilsa, you may not be the brightest bulb when it came to that comment, but your no match for the depths that Jeff Olsen can reach.
Yep. You got us pegged Einstein. You are Mother fucking Theresa, and you just can’t get it through our puny little skulls how right you are and how wrong we are.
I admit my first post in the handt thread was over the top.
I stand by my statement that more RAM will increase system efficiency in ~70% of all cases. You have always ignored my first response to your first post.
I hesitate to state that I’ve forgotten more about computers than you know, as you may have a shred of knowledge, but dim bulb about computers I ain’t, bro. Fluffi Bunni I’m not, but I can code HTML by hand in Notepad and build a box from scratch.
I’ll say it again: let’s drop it.
A real coder can do it by foot.
Plywood?
there’s a sure fire way to ‘drop it’ ya know - stop posting.
this advice is free.
and should be taken by both the major participants IMHO.
No, dummy! I only use oak and cherry.
Here’s more recent cite demostrating the perfomance increases in going from 128 to 512 MB:
Again, admittedly not relevant to the OP of the GQ thread, but telling, nevertheless. CnoteChris should admit that even now, RAM can in many situations improve performance.
It is, however, relevant to handy’s question and my response.
Ucccchh. Follow your own fuckin’ advice and stop worrying about your Post Count. Yeesh, you’re a creep.
Oh, jesus. You think I am doing this for my post count? What the fuck? Are you psycho, or just stupid?
well, we’ve ruled out that you’re doing it to impress anyone. what else is there?
Ilsa, even I gotta say at this point it’s time to stop posting. You wanna let it go, then let it go already.
Ok, but that goes for everybody. Bye-Bye.
