I finally get in a good rapport with a doc, one that understood that I don’t have insurance and tried to make things as easy as possible for me, one that had the same taste in books and movies, one that I felt amazingly comfortable with…
and he moves to New Zealand.
Argh.

I met a great doctor early this year. He’s an amazing person. He’s super nice, personable and has great hobbies. Also one of the coolest offices ever, I could spend 3 days in there reading his books, well probably longer. Then I moved away from him. I’d pass out his name to people, but then he broke his neck and is wearing a halo now.
After my insurance changes, I’ll be on my quest for another great doc.
I can’t imagine not having the doctor that I have. She has been awesome to me too. There was a time when I didn’t have insurance and she wrote my visits off to charity. I only found this out when I asked for a yearly report and that is when I seen it itemized. She even has had me exit out the back door, by-passing check out. Plus she always hooks me up on samples and when writing a script tries to choose one that won’t cost me an arm and a leg. Hope you find another doctor that is just as good. I would be lost without mine.
I’m going to another doc in the office. I’ve seen him before, and he’s a good doc, but I liked the other one so much better.
Sigh.
