I am curious whether it also means a dog is feeling secure in their environment. I would imagine that the wolf wouldn’t want to expose their most vulnerable areas.
You know, I never thought of it that way, but I’d bet you’re right. I really can’t imagine my dog sleeping like that if she was some place she wasn’t feeling completely secure, like at the kennel.
