My doggie has dread-locks...

My dog, is very, very fluffy. I mean REALLY fluffy.

Generally I brush him about 3 times a week to keep his fluff, fluffy.

Sadly, I’ve been very busy with work and school, and I’ve neglected his brushing for a while.

Now he has dread-locks. He’s the Rasta-dog. He looks uber-cool. I’m thinking of getting him one of those funky hats…

Oooh, you need pictures! Sans any Mary Jane, of course. Unless we’re talking about shoes, mauhn.

Is he a Puli or a Komondor?

He actually looks a bit more like this…

Have you been letting your dog smoke the ganja while you were busy with your schoolwork?

No, but I have been giving him free reign with the Beggin’ Strips…

humm

What kind of dog do you have, alice?

I have a silky terrier (pictures here and here). His hair is pretty fluffy, and no one in my family ever brushes it. He gets a good bath + brushing every time I come home, but that’s only once or twice a month.
I’ve always wanted a Komondor, even before Beck’s Odelay! came out.

Whoops, my point (besides shamelessly whoring my dog for "ooooh"s and "ahhhhh"s) was that my doggy pal gets pretty dreadlocky, even when we keep his hair short.

He’s so cute!

He’s a bichon/shitzu/yorky cross. It’s the yorky that gives him his lovely brownness.

Oops.

Here’s my baby.

My dog gets dreads every now and then–around her ears and neck area. She’s got one now.

I keep telling her that no daughter of mine is going to walk around with dreads, but she just doesn’t listen!

My border collie gets them around his ears and tail. I make it my mission to remove the pesky little buggers. He’s never too thrilled about it.

Awww! Your dog looks like such a sweetheart, alice!
