The card ports don’t work at all, but Windows does? So the computer isn’t really any different with the card out or in? My Q would be if the new card was seated correctly.
Again remove all other cards that are not needed to start and use the new USB card, and reposition the USB card in an new slot if available would be next.
Maybe remove all the USB devices and let them re-add.
Someone thing may be blocking the detection process ?
( Could be a bit hard to get through to trigger re-adding them if you disable USB keyboard in doing so )
okay guys after I turned off my computer the last time I posted in this thread it is yet to come back on. I am posting this message from my galaxy s3. I took the computer apart to call the PCI cards that were installed on it out, make sure there was no dust anywhere inside the machine, and put it back together.although it’s interesting being able to dictate my post by voice on the message board, this isn’t going to be any good for anything else. Does anybody have any ideas? I never had this problem before I tried putting the card in sorry if this is somewhat of a zombie post I had to figure out how to get the wifi to work properly on this phone so I can get back into the message board.
What do you mean when you say it doesn’t come on? Does it start to boot and then quit? Is the fan running? Does anything display on the monitor? Do any of the lights on the front of the machine come on? How about the keyboard lights?
