If you are fishing for compliments: Fabulous, I loved it!
If your interested in my thoughts: A little trite. It lacks sufficient irony because a lot of people do hear what she thinks they hear. But apply that to today’s candidates on a new topic. Try using Cain’s denials of impropriety, Romney’s flipflops, or Perry’s lunacy. Targeted political satire depends on good timing. Are you familiar withJibJab? Still good for your first shot.
Reminds me too much of the classic Far Side “What Dogs Hear” strip.
I laughed.
Well, I’m not looking to make a career out of this, but thanks for the feedback anyway! I originally made it so I could post it on a BigT’s facebook wall; BigT is a lesbian, so this is the only political shenaniganry I could think of that I knew she would find amusing. It wasn’t until after I posted it that I realized other people might enjoy it too.
And no, I hadn’t heard of JibJab.
Whoa. You learn something new about your fellow posters every day.
Liked your cartoon, thought it was funny. For people who are less politically aware, if you posted it somewhere, I would include a link to explain who the person in the photo is, not everyone will recognize Michelle Bachmann.
The words on the bottom of the picture should appear on top. That’s all I got.
