So far, I have not succumbed to the church peer-pressure (something that the folks at my church would normally condem) to see this film, which I understand is graphically violent (something they would also usually condemn).
I just can’t get my head around the cognitive dissonance of it all; people are saying “It’s a horrible, violent, disturbing film that will leave you emotionally scarred, you must go and see it” or “I couldn’t decide whether I wanted to walk out or throw up, but I made myself sit through it”. :eek:
