Sitting on my butt surfing and knitting a large lacy linen wrap… which is much like what I’ve been doing the rest of the week as I broke my damn ankle last week… so much for frolicking in the spring sunshine etc.
I’m recovering from baby-proofing the house. Baby Beast is being a complete dork in her activity center, hollering, drooling, dancing, hooting and gnawing. My feet and back hurt. Dora the Explorer is on, but she prefers Spongebob, since Daddy prefers Spongebob.
She found the dogs water bowl today and had a blast. There is no such thing as a clean crawling baby.
I fully agree. Air conditioning is, IMNSHO, the second most important adjunct of civilization, #1 being the indoor flush toilet.
GF and I hiked 8 miles today, so we’re sitting around not doing anything. I’m on SDMB, obviously, and we’re watching “Supertroopers” and playing with the dog.
Kool-Aid guy (jug? pitcher?) started wearing pants years ago. Best not to think on it.
I’ve been watching Band of Brothers (on History Channel) on my new, 42" plasma TV. I actually love the miniseries – but it’s pretty mundane and pointless since (1) I’ve watched it about a billion times, and (2) the DVDs are sitting not three feet from me, so I could be watching it without all the annoying commercials about their Washington show coming up.
hmmm, the other night I for some reason got glued to a presetaion of voiced over Mothera on a tv at work.
I dont even watch tv… but I was taken :smack:
Listening to Iced Earth, going back and forth between being bored by the internet and being bored by The DaVinci Code.
Eating Rice Krispie Treats and waiting for husband’s show to end so that I can watch Six Feet Under --I rented the entire 2nd season. I watched the finale last week, and now must watch the show in its entirety.
I’m working on a paper for my Library Administration class, due at some point before midnight on Tuesday (tomorrow). At least it’s a short paper, but it’s no fun at all.
We had a lunchtime cookout where I consumed a few beers, so I took a nap this afternoon and still feel pleasantly sleepy. It isn’t aiding the concentration much.
Hate to burst everyone’s bubble, but that’s her older sister. I’m very, very sorry.
