Hello, I appear to be having a bit of computer trouble. Almost every other time I log on, I find that my homepage has been changed to some “Search Engine” like Global Search. Also, IE is running very slow. I’m running ME and installed Adaware and ran it yesterday, but the problems are still here. I’ve dumped my cookies, run scandisk, and done disk cleanup, but nothing seems to help. Please tell me what is wrong with my poor computer!
YES! I was having this VERY PROBLEM!!!
Also, is IE shutting down on you when you go to certain websites?
(I upgraded to IE 6, don’t know if that would help you, though).
You have some sort of spyware or adware that’s hijacked your homepage. Get Adaware 6.0 or Spybot.
One of these should get rid of the offending hijacker.
