My hot tub is broken!

There is nothing quite so miserable as expecting to get into a nice tub of hot water, only to have it turn out to be cold!

I am still shivering! Bleah! What’s worse is, I am looking at starting a new business with some people and will probably soon have a much-reduced salary. Normally I would just go buy a new tub, but now I have to think about every purchase. :frowning:

Oh well, I suppose I’ll have to add another layer to the covers tonight and snuggle in.

My heart goes you to you. I know how you feel! Our old tub motor packed it in after 10 years of loyal service, and I didn’t discover it until I ventured outside in 50 degree weather and stepped into it!

Happily we’ve upgraded, and our new tub has a nice temperature of 103, which is just right for the winter.

We have a softub. What’s yours?

Don’t you check the water temperature before you jump in? If not will you in the future?

Moving thread from IMHO to MPSIMS.

I had a Spa-in-a-box. It was meant as stop-gap measure until I decided if I wanted to buy a “real” one. Then I couldn’t decide if I was staying in this house or not. Now I am not sure I should spend the money…

Wow, that’s twice in 6 weeks I’ve posted in the wrong forum! I know better too. I’ll try to be sure to click more carefully.

Why? My tub was always at the temp I set it at for 10 years, until the failure.
