It’s probably best known from the theme to Breakfast at Tiffany’s, “Moon River.” Where Henri Mancini got it, I don’t know.
Well. Maybe I do. Maybe I don’t.
I assume it means like Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn from Twains books.
Buddies, me and you out and about, having fun and looking for adventure.
I like it because it’s a line in the song “Moon River” from “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” sung(?) by Audrey Hepburn
Just evokes a nostalgic feeling.
