I once had a client whose reticulated python escaped from its tank. He searched the house, but could not find it, and as it was winter, he assumed the snake deceased. About a year later, he was doing laundry in his basement. A ceiling tile fell due to the weight of a snake and plop there was a snake on the basement floor. He brought the animal in for an exam, and told me the story. The snake was much bigger than the one he lost, so he thought it was a different snake. When I pointed out that it was much more likely the same snake he lost, he asked me how it had survived without being fed. I tried to be polite.
Gmail came up with a rather unfortunate “related page” to go along with the email notification on this. Python eats siamese cat Poor kitty, assuming that’s a reliable news source.
Aw shucks,
I do have a weakness for proper grammer…
The correct use of adverbs makes me weak in the knees.
Because there are just SO MANY reticulated pythons living in the wild in Western Pennsylvania?
And now, please allow me to introduce you to Gaudere.
Well, if people are losing them and they’re out there chowing down on the family cat…it’s like the crocodiles in the subways all over again!
In veterinary medicine the average client’s IQ is tied closely top the species owned, with reptile owners on the bottom of the pile.
I don’t even have a scrotum, and this made me want to cry.
featherlou, Snakescatlady, I think all black cats are in on this diabolical plot. This is why we have superstitions about them. My big fat blackie insists on sleeping right at the top of the stairs–which is precisely where I need to walk to get anywhere in my apartment. He wants me to fall down and break my neck so he can feast upon my tender flesh, I believe.
Good thing I’m moving to a new condo with spiral staircases in a couple months. :smack:
I am curious which owners are considered the smartest?
In my experience, and meaning no negativity, jeesh this is difficult. I would go with cat owners.
If you would ask what demographic makes the best pet owners I would say gay males by a landslide.
As a non-gay cat owner, I got the answer I was hoping to see.
My BIL is a Gay Male Cat Owner and I think I would agree with your accessment.
Well, that seems self-evident to me.
Oh, really… ?
