My husband shaved his mustache!

My hubby talks about growing a beard (mostly as an excuse not to shave while we’re on vacation, I suspect), but he has a short but very deep scar on he lower left side of his face. A beard would have to get pretty lush before it would cover the scar.

I keep thinking about shaving the beard/mustache, but A) my wife would (probably literally) kill me, and B) my co-workers wouldn’t recognize me–in their minds, I’m a beard with legs. My beard gets invited separately to meetings.

My grandmother cut off half of grandfather’s mustache while he was sleeping to force him to shave it off. :dubious:

I am awaiting the ‘I’ve been downsized…thankfully, they’re putting my beard on the payroll’ thread.

Didn’t bother me any when hubby shaved his. It was never my idea in the first place (unlike the idea, for instance, that my hair is long only because he likes it that way; otherwise, it’d be much shorter). He was the one that was always so fond of it. I think he’d had it for so long it became part of his ‘identity’, y’know?

All the more reason to shave it! You can put it in a baggie and send it to meetings alone, then you won’t have to bother attending!

Be sure it brings you back a donut, though.
